S/Q Showdown [Dharma, Dhjana-da-Dhjana]

S/Q Boogie: [ fast-steppin-out rock tempo]

One....Two....
One-Two-Three-- Oh!
Baby dance this dance with me -to
find out if we're really cra-zay
really,really cra-zay....We
won't find out ,if we don't buy the time,
So work it up slow,girl,
I'll be here waiting.

A song we're unknown to,
we could step into,
a fashion we could state
and move in time to.
Jumpin' on out and rolling it home
an' landin' run-ning on both feet.

Making up the low-down,
Making up the slow-down,
Spill the little cup-of
dreams we can't hold to.
Shakin' it is better than a
Na-na-na-No-----no-no
No-na-na-No of a
Nothing that is so complete.

Oh!---Baby let's make love sometime -to-
find out where our sole desire -is-
really seated.
Smash all the doubt /if you want it or not
Let your self down-slow
I'll be here waiting.

A wrong we're unknown to,
we could lead right to,
a fashion we could state
and be sublime to.
If somethin' is better than a
No-na-No-No---na-na
No-na-na-No
of a nothin'that is so complete.

Making up the low-down,
Lettin' the rules go
as we drive along now
heading for a show-down.
Remembering the place where
music comes from
is hidden right beneath our feet.

Baby dance this dance with me-------------------
Whao,Oh Baby dance this dance with me,
Baby dance this dance with me-to find out if we're
Rea-Lay-Cra-Zay!!!!!!!!!

Moving up the slow-down'
Speedin up the get-down'
remembering the dance where
we have come from
Slowin' up the move down'
Gettin' up the speed-down'
and dance again to find our feet.

Oh baby let's make love sometime
Baby let's make love, make love sometime---
Baby let's make love sometime and find out
if we're Rea-Lay-Cra-Zay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scott, you left a long comment on my post about "Children of Men" and film deaths. I'd completely missed it. I loved the insight into "Little Big Man," a book I dug more than I dug the movie -- but I dug the movie, too. And that is a great moment.

The idea that anything Kirk Douglas ever did could bring up a deep emotional response is fascinating. I don't remember The Vikings.

But then, I'm 50. I don't even remember the Alamo.

Way to versify, by the way. It inspired me to a guinea pig ode in my latest post.

Hope you & Abraham are well. Happy weekend...
